Volleyball Recap: Southland College Prep's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Southland College Prep lost against St. Anne back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Southland College Prep fell just short of St. Anne by a score of 2-1.

Southland College Prep actually scored more points across those three sets (65-64), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-20, 14-25, 25-20.

St. Anne's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tatum Kirkland, who had seven digs and three aces. The dominant performance also gave Kirkland a new career-high in assists (13). Another player making a difference was Quinlin Kirkland, who had five digs and three aces.

Southland College Prep's loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-15. As for St. Anne, their win ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 10-15.

Southland College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Anne, they will face off against Morgan Park Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
