East Duplin took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Richlands Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Duplin is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Wallace-Rose Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richlands, they will face off against South Lenoir at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
