Volleyball Game Preview: Raymond Central Mustangs vs. Douglas County West Falcon

The Raymond Central Mustangs will take on the Douglas County West Falcon in a tournament on Saturday. Raymond Central is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Raymond Central's tournament run continued when they took on Yutan on Thursday. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Chieftains with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Raymond Central might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Yutan scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 25-20.

Louisville typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Douglas County West proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lions, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcon have posted since September 27th.

Douglas County West wouldn't go down easily and took Louisville into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-12, 25-16, 22-25, 15-8.

Douglas County West's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Raymond Central, their victory bumped their record up to 14-12.
