Meanwhile, Gilmer County had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Tug Valley 63-33 on the road. Gilmer County has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 contests by 21 points or more this season.
River View is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Gilmer County, their win bumped their record up to 23-2.
