Basketball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 76-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Point Pleasant Big Blacks. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (61), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Eastern's record is now 7-7. As for Point Pleasant, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

Eastern will challenge Trimble at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Point Pleasant has already played their next match (against Gallia Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
