Basketball Game Preview: Madrid Tigers vs. Moravia Mohawks

The Madrid Tigers will face off against the Moravia Mohawks on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Moravia will be up against a hot Madrid team: the squad just extended their winning streak to 23. Madrid simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Melcher-Dallas 119-36. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Saints are ranked 360th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Moravia blew past Seymour, posting a 70-41 win. The Mohawks haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Moravia's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Madrid, they pushed their record up to 23-0 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.
