Baseball Recap: Theodore Comes Up Short

Theodore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Bryant Hurricanes. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hurricanes from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Robert Brown was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

Theodore's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Bryant, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Theodore Bobcats challenge Murphy Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bryant, they will face off against Daphne at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
