Softball Recap: Arapahoe Warriors vs. Cherokee Trail Cougars
Arapahoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell just short of the Cherokee Trail Cougars by a score of 19-18. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by just one run.
Isabella Knox and Loralei McNulty stepped up to the plate in a big way. Knox fired off two home runs, four runs, and four runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances, while McNulty fired off two home runs, three runs, and three runs while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance gave McNulty a new career-high in home runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Lakyn Wilkinson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5.
