Volleyball Recap: Crestwood Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Crestwood couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holy Redeemer Royals on Thursday. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Royals recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Despite the loss, Crestwood still got an impressive performance from Luke Joseph, who had 18 digs. Joseph has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 12 times he's played.

Crestwood's defeat dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Holy Redeemer, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-5.

Crestwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holy Redeemer, they will take on Carver High School of Engineering & Science at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
