Volleyball Recap: Ralston Takes a Loss

Ralston lost against Ashland-Greenwood back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams lost 3-0 to the Bluejays. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12, 25-8.

Lexi Norman paced Ralston's offense, picking up five kills. Norman got some help from Addi Salvador and her two assists. Cami Anguiano controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Ashland-Greenwood was led to victory by Drew Tonjes and Averi Bridges. Tonjes had four aces and three digs, while Bridges had 13 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Bridges has posted over her last 13 contests.

Ralston's loss dropped their record down to 1-26. As for Ashland-Greenwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Ralston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Malcolm on the 21st. As for Ashland-Greenwood, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Mercy on the 20th.
