Titusville waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Palm Bay Pirates. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 last Thursday.

Kyle Cox looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jake Roberts was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February.

Titusville's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Palm Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Looking ahead, Titusville will square off against Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palm Bay, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 16-7 loss against Cocoa Beach on the 8th.
