Basketball Recap: Marquette Skates Past Waynesville with Ease

Marquette had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Waynesville Tigers 67-36 on Wednesday. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Tigers are ranked 324th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Marquette is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Waynesville is on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20.

As of now, neither Marquette nor Waynesville have any future games scheduled.
