Soccer Recap: Sterling Comes Up Short

Sterling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Spring Woods Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by exactly eight goals.

Sterling's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Spring Woods, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-1-3 record this season.

Sterling has already played their next game (against Waltrip), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Spring Woods will challenge Milby at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Spring Woods is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
