Soccer Game Preview: Midlothian vs. James River Midlothian

Midlothian is headed into the match without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Huguenot on Thursday. Midlothian haven't had any issues with Huguenot recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Midlothian hit Huguenot with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Max Johnson, Andrew Henry, and Casey Royle.

Meanwhile, James River Midlothian waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Cavaliers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Give James River Midlothian's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

James River Midlothian's victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Midlothian, their win bumped their record up to 12-0-4.

Midlothian beat James River Midlothian 3-1 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
