Volleyball Game Preview: Milpitas Trojans vs. Lincoln Lions + How To Watch

The Milpitas Trojans will square off against the Lincoln Lions at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.

Milpitas is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Palo Alto just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Vikings.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Palo Alto scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Lincoln was able to grind out a solid victory over Alisal on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Milpitas' loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Milpitas was able to grind out a solid win over Lincoln when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
