Basketball Recap: East Hall's Loss Ends Ten-Game Winning Streak at Home

On Thursday, East Hall faced Cherokee Bluff in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The East Hall Vikings took a 76-72 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cherokee Bluff Bears. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Bears: they've now lost six in a row.

East Hall's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-3. As for Cherokee Bluff, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 17-1.
