Volleyball Recap: Butler Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Butler and Grimsley squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Butler had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Whirlies. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Whirlies recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Grimsley was led to victory by Jasmine Clark and Morgan Falk. Clark had 19 digs and three aces, while Falk had 17 digs and five assists. That's the most assists Falk has posted over her last seven matches.

Butler's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Grimsley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-8 record this season.

Butler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grimsley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mooresville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
