Baseball Recap: Concord Minutemen vs. South Bend Riley Wildcats

While Concord's victory against South Bend Riley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Minutemen had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 5-4 on Saturday. The Minutemen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Alex Jimenez looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Concord: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 6-11 otherwise.
