Baseball Game Preview: San Augustine Wolves vs. Joaquin Rams

The San Augustine Wolves will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Joaquin Rams at 6:05 p.m. on Friday. San Augustine's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four matches, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

San Augustine is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came up short against Chireno on Tuesday, falling 13-1.

Meanwhile, Joaquin has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.07 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-11 win over Timpson. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their two-run performance the contest before.

The team relied heavily on Duncan McCann, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Miller, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Joaquin's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for San Augustine, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
