Adams-Friendship extended their losing streak to 12 on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 2-14 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wautoma Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in April.

For Wautoma's part, Carson Rose made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out 11 batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits.
