Bonneville waltzed into their game on Friday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Idaho Falls Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bees have posted against the Tigers since April 14, 2023.

Carter Bowen made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Bowen wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Greyson Martin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Martin is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Bonneville pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Idaho Falls, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonneville will venture away from home to face off against Skyline at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Idaho Falls, they will head out to take on Blackfoot at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
