Soccer Recap: Friday Harbor Takes a Loss

Friday Harbor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes. That's two games in a row now that Friday Harbor have lost by just one goal.

Friday Harbor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Mount Vernon Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2-1.

Looking ahead, Friday Harbor will head out on the road to take on Coupeville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Friday Harbor will be up against Coupeville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.5 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mount Vernon Christian, they will take on Okanogan at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
