Volleyball Recap: Lyndon Triumphs

Lyndon lost to Doniphan West back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 2-1.

Aniston Clary and Andi Foster certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Clary had seven digs and four aces, while Foster had 20 digs and two assists. Foster has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played. Emmyjo Whetstine also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Lyndon's win bumped their record up to 23-18-1. As for Doniphan West, the loss snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 22-16 record.

Lyndon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Jefferson County North on the 25th. Doniphan West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
