Basketball Recap: Pine Prairie Comes Up Short

If Pine Prairie was feeling good fresh off their 65-29 takedown of Mamou on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers lost 77-57 to the Church Point Bears on Friday. The Panthers have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Pine Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Church Point, they moved to 19-12 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
