Basketball Recap: Osceola Takes a Loss

Osceola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 50-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newport Greyhounds. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seminoles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-31 back in December of 2024.

Osceola's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Newport, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Osceola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 53-33 defeat against Walnut Ridge on the 23rd. Newport has also already played their next game, a 63-56 loss against Rivercrest on the 24th.
