Coventry is 8-2 against Streetsboro since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Comets will head out on the road to take on the Rockets at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Tuesday, Coventry came up short against Norton and fell 3-1. The Comets have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21.

Streetsboro had taken Cloverleaf down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Rockets came up short against the Colts, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 25-19.

Streetsboro's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Coventry, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

Everything went Coventry's way against Streetsboro in their previous meeting back in August, as Coventry made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
