Rock Port skates past Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri with ease

Recap: Rock Port Blue Jays vs. Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri Crusaders

The Rock Port Blue Jays scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri 77-41 on the road. With that victory, Rock Port brought their scoring average up to 53.6 points per game.

Leading Rock Port to victory were Malachi Skillen and Jack Meyerkorth. Skillen scored 13 points, while Meyerkorth scored 19 points along with four steals. The matchup was Meyerkorth's third in a row with at least ten points. Westyn Amthor was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Rock Port's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rock Port will be home for the holidays to greet Union Star at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Independence Home School at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
