Basketball Recap: Verden Comes Up Short

Verden lost against Rush Springs last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Verden Tigers fell to the Rush Springs Redskins 40-35. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Verden's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Rush Springs, they moved to 5-10 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Verden Tigers challenge the Amber-Pocasset Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Amber-Pocasset will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Verden surely won't give up without a fight. Rush Springs has already played their next game, a 41-27 loss against Dibble on the 25th.
