Basketball Game Preview: Arts Jaguars vs. American History Eagles

The Arts Jaguars will take on the American History Eagles in a holiday battle at at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Arts was able to grind out a solid win over Brooklyn Collegiate, taking the game 41-30.

Meanwhile, American History put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Barringer by a score of 63-53.

American History's win came from a few key players Arts will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ahmad Davis, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Ah'Mad Woodard, who posted 16 points in addition to six steals and five boards.

American History smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

American History's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Arts, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
