Basketball Recap: Fort Lee Beats Passaic Valley for Their Second Straight Victory

Fort Lee won the last time they faced Passaic Valley, and Guy Vickers did his part to make sure it happened again. The Fort Lee Bridgemen secured a 65-60 W over the Passaic Valley Hornets on Saturday thanks in part to Vickers, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 14 boards. Those 26 points gave him a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for Fort Lee and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Passaic Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Fort Lee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-37 victory against Passaic Arts & Science Charter on the 23rd. Passaic Valley and Oratory Prep will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
