Football Recap: Mt. Hope Huskies vs. Rogers Vikings
Mt. Hope and Rogers squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mt. Hope had to settle for second. They took a 29-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rogers Vikings. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Mt. Hope still got an impressive performance from Jerry Pimental, who rushed for 262 yards and a touchdown while picking up 14.6 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown. Pimental was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 62 yards.
Even though they lost, Mt. Hope was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 280 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 188 rushing yards in five consecutive matches.
Alexander Toribio was his usual excellent self, rushing for 200 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also picking up 37 receiving yards and a touchdown for Rogers.

Classical has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 128 points over their last three games.
