It's playoff time, and Weed had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Middletown Mustangs by a score of 70-63 on Tuesday. The Cougars are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 19 straight.

Weed's victory was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.9 points over those games. As for Middletown, their loss dropped their record down to 24-8.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Weed Cougars duke it out with Fortune Early College Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Weed will need to watch out since Fortune Early College has now posted at least 55 points in their last ten contests. Middletown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
