Football Recap: St. Philip Catholic Central Takes a Loss

St. Philip Catholic Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Litchfield Terriers and fell 50-6. The Fighting Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Terriers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

St. Philip Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Litchfield, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, St. Philip Catholic Central will take on Bellevue at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Fighting Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Litchfield, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Pittsford at 7:00 p.m.
