Basketball Recap: Mattituck Comes Up Short

Mattituck and Babylon squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but Mattituck had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Babylon Panthers and fell 57-22. The matchup marked the Tuckers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Babylon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Peyton Logue - Boyd led the charge by putting up 18 points. Morgan Fiedler was another key player, earning 16 points.

Mattituck now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Babylon, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

As of now, neither Mattituck nor Babylon have any future games scheduled.
