Humble had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 3-6 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots, posting a 67-0 win. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

As for Goose Creek Memorial, they now have a losing record of 4-5. The contest marked the first time this season in which they were not able to get on the board.

Despite the loss, Goose Creek Memorial still got an impressive performance from Ricco Richards Jr., who threw for 213 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 75 yards and one score. Richards Jr. is becoming a predictor of the Patriots' success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 1-4 when he doesn't). Goose Creek Memorial's leading receiver Joshua Babin was Richards Jr.'s top target yet again, picking up 120 receiving yards and one TD.

Coming up, Humble will face off against Kingwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.67 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Goose Creek Memorial, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Atascocita at 7:00 p.m.
