Manitowoc Lincoln had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the De Pere Redbirds on Thursday, falling 38-0. The loss continues a trend for the Ships in their meetings with the Redbirds: they've now lost nine in a row.

Manitowoc Lincoln and De Pere could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Ships (ranked 241st) will meet Ashwaubenon (ranked 100th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, De Pere will challenge Notre Dame Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th with a big rank disadvantage (76 vs. 16).
