Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greer). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Pickens Blue Flame 72-36. The victory was some much needed relief for the Yellow Jackets as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Greer can attribute much of their success to Gracelyn Kennington, who posted six points and six steals. The dominant performance gave Kennington a new career-high in steals.

Greer's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-10. As for Pickens, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Greer has already played their next match (against Christ Church Episcopal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pickens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 51-36 loss against Berea on the 17th.
