After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hazel Park, Sterling Heights was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Lincoln Abes get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory. The Stallions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by eight runs or more this season.

Sterling Heights pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lincoln, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sterling Heights will head out to square off against Cousino at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln, they will venture away from home to face off against Clintondale at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
