Football Recap: Pine Ridge Falls to Winter Springs in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Pine Ridge had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Winter Springs Bears 34-0 on Friday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Dominic Silva threw for 48 yards on five of 11 attempts. Yomar Medina was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards.

Omar Scott had a dynamite game For Winter Springs., rushing for 184 yards and three scores while picking up 10.2 yards per carry.

Pine Ridge will head out on the road to challenge St. Cloud at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Winter Springs, they will welcome Celebration at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
