Valley Christian entered their tilt with Heritage Christian on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Defenders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Valley Christian's got stronger as the match went on, holding Heritage Christian to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11, 25-9.

Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Heritage Christian, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-9.

Coincidentally, Valley Christian and Heritage Christian will both be playing Maranatha the next time they take the court. The Defenders will head out to face the Minutemen at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
