Baseball Recap: Medina Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lawrence Upper on Tuesday, Medina Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Knights lost 7-1 to the Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix on Friday. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Derek Kruszewski made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. D.J. Reidl also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Medina Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Andrews Osborne Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.

Medina Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Andrews Osborne Academy, they will face off against Harding at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
