Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask King). They blew past the Lockhart Lions 69-17 on Saturday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Mustangs with their most commanding win of the season.

King's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gianna Blanco, who went 6 for 9from beyond the arc on her way to 30 points. Those 30 points gave Blanco a new career-high. Kamila Hernandez was another key player, putting up 16 points along with eight assists and seven steals.

King's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Lockhart, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

King will head out to square off against Carroll at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. King is facing Carroll at the right time seeing as Carroll is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lockhart, they will venture away from home to face off against Lehman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lockhart will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Lehman will have lost seven straight heading into Tuesday's game.
