Basketball Recap: Solebury Spartans vs. Shabach Christian Academy Blue Eagles        
        
		
            
 It may have taken  overtime to finish the job, but the Solebury Spartans ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past Shabach Christian Academy Blue  83-80. The  victory was all the more spectacular given Solebury's disadvantage  in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states  (they are ranked 285th in Pennsylvania, while the Eagles are ranked 84th in Maryland).
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Solebury to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Tyler Simpson, who  scored 27 points. Simpson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's  now  scored 15 or more in the last 17 games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Makhai Anderson, who  dropped  a double-double on 24 points and 12  rebounds.
 Solebury pushed their record up to 13-10 with that  victory, which was their third straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Shabach Christian Academy Blue, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
 Solebury will face off against the  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Shabach Christian Academy Blue's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Crusaders at 7:00  p.m.  on February 6th. Riverdale Baptist has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 336 points over their last five matchups.
