Community Christian entered their tilt with Brooks County on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Trojans.

Community Christian easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-18.

Their offense was headlined by Avea (Smashburger) Casperson and Kallie (Killshot) Mathison, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Sarah (T.P.) Bradley and her 16 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Community Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Brooks County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Community Christian will be playing at home against Rickards at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brooks County, they will head out on the road to face off against Sumter County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
