Basketball Game Preview: Bynum Bulldogs vs. Blum Bobcats

The Bynum Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Blum Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Blum took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Bynum, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Bynum humbled Three Way with a 60-20 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

Madi Westmoreland and Brooklyn Compean were among the main playmakers for Bynum as the former posted seven points in addition to eight assists and eight steals and the latter put up 17 points along with six boards and three steals. Westmoreland has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 13 times she's played. Jaedyn Degner was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Blum came up short against Itasca back in December of 2024 and fell 36-24. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Wampus Cats recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Bynum is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.9 points per game. As for Blum, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
