Basketball Recap: Rigby Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Madison

On Friday, Rigby faced Madison in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Rigby Trojans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-41 victory over the Madison Bobcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-43 on January 8th.

Rigby is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points per game. As for Madison, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-7.
