While Eisenhower's victory against Great Bend wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eisenhower Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 62-60 win over the Great Bend Panthers on Wednesday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Leading Eisenhower to victory were Romari Howard and Pierce Blue. Howard went 8-for-10 en route to 19 points, while Blue posted 17 points and six boards. What's more, Blue posted two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Kasten Koehn, who earned five points and five assists.

Eisenhower's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Great Bend, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-3.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Eisenhower Tigers challenge Andover Central Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Eisenhower has given up an average of 51.6 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. Great Bend does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
