Basketball Recap: Panorama Skates Past Sun Valley Magnet with Ease

There's no place like home for Panorama, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They claimed a resounding 58-25 victory over the Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Pythons considering their 19-point performance the matchup before.

Panorama's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Yadhira Hermenegildo led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Hermenegildo has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was VALERY QUEZADA, who posted 18 points in addition to eight boards and four steals.

Panorama was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Panorama's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Sun Valley Magnet, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-6.

Panorama will venture away from home to face off against Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennedy will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Panorama surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sun Valley Magnet, they will be playing at home against Valor Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
