Recap: Wilson Hall Barons vs. Florence Christian Eagles
The Wilson Hall Barons extended their postseason success on Friday against the Florence Christian Eagles. They took down the Eagles 21-7. The win was nothing new for Wilson Hall as they're now sitting on four straight.
Clark Kinney was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
When it comes to explaining why Florence Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Juels I huntley. Despite the final result, he rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown. I huntley hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for ten straight games.
Wilson Hall has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Florence Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5.
Wilson Hall will take on Hilton Head Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hilton Head Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten contests -- so hopefully Wilson Hall likes a good challenge. Florence Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
