Midwest Central/Delavan is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since December 5, 2024 on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 44-41 victory over Stark County.

Meanwhile, Elmwood took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 56-27 win over Lewistown. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Elmwood pushed their record up to 17-12 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points over those games. As for Midwest Central/Delavan, their win bumped their record up to 8-16.

Midwest Central/Delavan might still be hurting after the 43-22 defeat they got from Elmwood in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Elmwood's Andrea Glenn, who posted 24 points.
